July 24, 1997. The FAQs and Features section, focused on helpful articles and information rather than machine-specific specs or details.
June 5, 1997. Music Machines unveils a slick new look, including a cute agent and suggested links in the title bar.
February 10, 1997. Music Machines takes its first halting steps toward full awareness by instituting user feedback to support automatic self-improvement. See the feedback options in the title bar. (NB: HAL became active on January 12, 1997.)
January 1, 1997. Music Machines reaches 100,000 total visitors, averaging 300-400 a day since 2/96.
November 11, 1996. The new links page is finished. Work begins on adding a backlog of about 300 URLs submitted to music machines over the months for inclusion.
