1. Do we have to support scrolling through the command
history using arrow keys? -- NO
2. Are the options for the "ls" command listed in the project descriptio
the only options we need to support -- YES
3. Can the due date for the design document be changed?
YES - see the project description/announcements for the new date.
4. What happens if my design and implementation are different?
Some minor differences are to be expected. "Significant" difference
as determined by the grader will result in a score of zero for your
design document (15% of the project grade).
5. Do we need to follow the exact format of the design document?
YES - this design document is used in CMSC 421 every semester. It is
likely, however, that some sections are not applicable.
6. Do we need to support the command "cd" command in the form "cd ~bob"? -- NO
Mr. Burt has established a discussion board for this project. He will be monitoring it and responding to posts as appropriate. If you have any further questions, please post them there.
