Microcontroller Application Report
You are required to write a report on a microcontroller application.
This report will be a website version. You will
select the application that you wish to report on and
get the instructor's permission to do the report on that top. I will only
allow one student to report on a specific application. Additionally
you will present the report verbally to the class (approximately a ten
minute report.) When you are selecting the application, I do not want it to be
broad and vague, like "Automotive Engineering", but rather "Collision Avoidance in
Automobiles". There are many ways that microcontrollers are used in automobiles
and someone else can then do a report on how microcontrollers control the
air and fuel mixtures in carburetors.
Topics To Be Included
Because the different applications are so different, there can be no list
of specifics topics to be covered, but this is a typical report, just like
you did in your English classes. Your report should be informative for your
classmates and teach me some things that I don't know about how microcontrollers
are used!
Page requirements
Web pages will be in a directory that is named for the chip (i.e., 8051) and
the first page in the directory will be named index.html. You can have
as many web page's as you wish. Web page's should be neat and attractive. If
you desire, you can get a graphic image(.gif or .jpg) for the page.
You will turn in a tar file containing the directory and all the files contained in it.
This directory will be added to the course homepage for public display.
