Homework 1

Homework 1 is due Wednesday June 9 before the beginning of class. Late homeworks will NOT be accepted.

  1. Use emacs to create a file called hw1.txt, which contains information about yourself.
    Please include your name, SSN, major, and class standing (i.e. sophomore).
    Tell me a little bit about yourself. Tell me which programming languages you know, if any. Tell me which operating systems you are familiar with. I'd like to know why you are taking this course, too.

  2. Use pine to send an email to bogar@cs that has the hw1.txt file that you created in step 1 as an attachment.
