• March 30, 2004 -- Test files for project 3 have been provided in Mr. Frey's public directory. The sample output is now the output that results from using those test files

• March 25, 2004 -- Project 3 Early Bird Special
  Project 3 has been posted and a discussion board established. A FAQ will be created when/if appropriate.
• March 9 - Exam review questions for the midterm have been posted. A discussion board has also been created.
• March 9 - There will no lab next week. The lab originally scheduled for next week will be held the week after spring break.

• March 8 - Wednesday, March 10th is the last day to request Project 1 grade changes.
• Feb 27 - Some minor changes to TA office have been made.

  The Computer Science Help Center is now open.
• Feb 9 -- Lab room change
  Due to circumstances beyond our control, the lab room assignment for sections

  • 0102 (Thur 11:30)
  • 0103 (Tues 12:30)
  • 0104 (Thur 12:30)
  has changed. These sections, and only these sections will hold lab in ECS 122, rather than ECS 104A.
• Feb 9 -- Project 1 Early Bird
  For those who like to get a head start, Project 1 has been posted. A discussion board on Blackboard has also been established.
• Feb 9 -- TA office hours
  TAs will begin holding office hours this week. Please check the "Staff Contact Information" and "Staff Office Hours" links below for TA office hours. Note that Friday office hours are only available the week a project is due.
• Feb 4 -- Linux Installfest
  The UMBC Linux Users Group (LUG) is holding its annual "Installfest" on Sunday Feb 8th from 1 - 6pm in the ECS atrium.
• Feb 2 -- Project 0
  All students officially enrolled in the course as of 10:00am today should now be able to test the submit process by completing Project 0.
  If you enroll after this time, please let Mr. Frey know.
• Jan 28 -- Enrolling on Blackboard
  If you are having difficulty accessing the course blackboard site, you can "self enroll" as a student in the course. To enroll for the course click on the courses tab in the Blackboard web site, and then select the Computer Science hyperlink under the Course Catalog section. Then select the enroll button for the (CMSC202_0101_SP2004) course. Refer to this link for more information.

  Two new sections have been opened to accomodate students on the hold list.
  Mr. Frey's new section 0107 has lab on Tuesday at 2:30pm.
  Mr. Raouf's new section 0204 has lab on Wednesday at 8:30pm.
