Introduction to Artificial Intelligence

This undergraduate course provides a general introduction to Artificial Intelligence concepts and techniques. We will cover a good part of the material in our text, Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach (fourth edition) by Stuart Russell and Peter Norvig, including the agent paradigm in AI systems, problem solving, search, game playing, knowledge representation and reasoning, natural language processing, planning, and machine learning .

When and Where

  • Synchronous lectures, Tue/Thr 4:00-5:15pm in person in room Public Policy 208

What

  • We plan to use webex in class to also make the lectures available online
  • Some additional asynchronous lecture material may be available
  • Recorded videos will be saved on Blackboard via Panoptico and should be available within 24 hours
  • We will use GitHub for releasing and submitting assignments
  • We will use Discord for online announcements, questions, and discussion
